Messaging bots or 'chatbots' emerged as one of the most hyped technologies of 2016. Chatbots are computer programs that can maintain automated text conversations with users. Popular messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype, LINE, and Telegram have amassed hundreds of millions of active users each. Facebook Messenger, and Facebook-owned WhatsApp, even crossed the 1 billion active users mark.

Conversational interfaces will revolutionize the way we interact with computers, bringing artificial intelligence into everyday conversations and transactions. At this workshop, you'll hear presentations from practitioner on how to implement AI-driven chatbots, with guidance on technology and frameworks, user experience, and business implications.

Prerequisites:

• At least you know how to code (Pascal, Java, C#, etc.)
• Download Lazarus https://www.lazarus-ide.org/
• or can run 'fpc' from command line (http://wiki.freepascal.org/Installing_Lazarus)
• Git Client
• Web Server: Apache in local laptop, or better using hosting that already support SSL (https) ex: https://apichat.yourowndomain.tld
