Inilah Para Pemenang Meteor Global Distributed Hackathon

Tanggal 10 - 11 Oktober yang lalu, Meteor melaksanakan Hackathon serentak di 229 kota, 78 negara, 6 benua. Diacara ini para peserta ditantang untuk membuat aplikasi meteor dalam waktu hanya 24 jam saja.

Terdapat enam kategori pemenang yang diambil. Keenam kategori tersebut adalah top five judge's choice, people's choice, best collaborative app, best game, best meteor and iot submission, dan best submission using less than 100 lines of javascript. Aplikasi yang telah di submit dinilai oleh publik melalui voting terbuka pada tanggal 12 Oktober. Berikut ini para pemenangnya.

Top Five Judge's Choice

1. Rest2DDP - Publish a live updating DDP API for any existing REST API
2. The Meteor Train - A toy train with Meteor UI, controlled by a Raspberry Pi
3. kindshare - An app that surfaces what local food banks and shelters need
4. StarSong - A collaborative music editing tool inspired by “Garage Band”
5. Candra - A modern Community Management System

People's Choice

1. If-Found-Lost - An app to help you find your lost items
2. Sahara - Plan meal recipes and track RSVPs for dining
3. Polytunes - An online musical collaborative experience

Best Collaborative App

Schnauze - Record, share and listen to geo-localised audio messages.

Best Game

Meteor Wars - Turn-based strategy game.

Best Meteor and IoT Submission

IoThingies - A rich web UI for IoT projects

Best Submission using less than 100 Lines of JavaScript

Meteor Icon - An Atmosphere badge to display the information about packages
